    Inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s "Night on Earth", "Cab Confessions" is a fully improvised dramatic theatre performance discovering a taxi as a highly intimate place. A driver and a passenger meet coincidentally and most likely never see each other again. This creates an uncommon space of intimacy amongst strangers. Both can safely touch and reveal parts and corners of their lives which usually remain carefully protected – without the fear of consequences. As the conversation between the two emerges, crucial experiences are touched, come to the fore, take the full stage and fade away. That leaves them both with a physical and emotional journey either inspired, devastated, touched, sad or hopeful as they step back into their ordinary lives. The show investigates and explores those hidden places of our lives which will be played out in front of the audience, inside and outside the taxi.
